KYB Corporation presented projects at the Bulgarian-Ukrainian business forum in Sofia

The international development corporation KYB took part in the Bulgarian-Ukrainian Business Forum, held at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the Ukrainian and Bulgarian-Ukrainian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The event brought together more than 60 companies from both countries and served as a platform for discussing investment opportunities and guarantees for businesses in Bulgaria, amid growing interest in local development projects.

Participants highlighted the strengthening of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Bulgaria: bilateral trade turnover exceeded USD 1.7 billion in 2024, and during the first five months of 2025, it increased by another 6%. Currently, more than 1,600 Ukrainian companies operate successfully in Bulgaria, while 350 Bulgarian businesses have already invested in projects in Ukraine.

During the panel session, KYB Corporation presented its Bulgarian portfolio and concept of responsible development. The presentation focused on the company’s progress in residential and commercial real estate, infrastructure, and urban environment improvement, as well as on potential opportunities for cooperation with Bulgarian partners in construction, logistics, and energy sectors.

“As an international corporation, we carry the responsibility of representing the economic potential of the countries where we operate. The mission of business is to connect the interests of states and people, creating a shared and sustainable future. To achieve this, we must constantly build new relationships and partnerships,” said Oleg Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.

The forum also showcased KYB’s social initiatives in Bulgaria, implemented in partnership with the humanitarian organization ‘We Together’.

“Business can provide resources, while charitable organizations can direct them where they are needed most. That’s why cross-border cooperation is equally important in both economic and humanitarian spheres. We’ve already proven this by helping to overcome the aftermath of the cyclone in Bulgaria,” emphasized Kristina Vier, representative of the NGO We Together.

Following the event, KYB Corporation reaffirmed its plans to expand investment projects in Varna and to develop joint opportunities for European investors in the region.

“KUB has extensive experience in implementing international-scale projects. One of the latest is a hotel under the Wyndham Garden brand near Bucharest Airport, aimed at strengthening the hospitality network between Eastern Europe and the Balkans. This is exactly the kind of strategic investment we intend to continue developing,” noted Anna Dobrovolska, representative of KYB.

KYB Corporation and the organization MI RAZOM provided aid to those affected by the floods in Tsarevo

The devastating flood that struck the Bulgarian town of Tsarevo caused severe destruction and left many families without shelter. During these difficult days, KYB Corporation and the public organization MI Razom joined forces to support the victims and deliver essential humanitarian aid.

Support from the heart

In the first days after the disaster, the teams of KYB and MI Razom began collecting essential supplies — food, clothing, children’s items, and other necessities. The collected aid was personally delivered by representatives of both organizations to the Bulgarian Red Cross – Tsarevo, where it was officially handed over and distributed among those in need.

“Humanity is not expressed in words, but in actions. It’s important to be there when people need it the most,” said representatives of KYB.
The strength of human stories

During their visit, representatives of the initiative met with residents of Tsarevo who shared their stories and experiences after the flood. Despite the pain and loss, their resilience, kindness, and hope were evident.

These meetings served as a reminder that solidarity and compassion are the foundation of a true community. When people come together, even the hardest challenges can be overcome.

Responsibility and values

For KYB, helping people is not just an act of goodwill — it’s part of the company’s philosophy. We believe that business should not only create but also support. Collaboration with initiatives that share these values, such as MI Razom, shows that kindness has the power to unite nations and people.

KYB Corporation and MI Razom express their gratitude to the Bulgarian Red Cross – Tsarevo for their cooperation and to all the volunteers who helped deliver and distribute the aid.

In difficult times, it is important to remember: kindness unites. And even a single sincere act can restore hope.

Clean spaces — happy people: KYB launches the eco-initiative “Slivi za smet” in Varna

KYB Corporation wrapped up the tourist season in Varna by launching a new environmental initiative — a monthly cycle of sports and eco-cleanup events “Slivi za smet.” Over the course of a year, the company’s team, city residents, and partners will take part in plogging — a combination of jogging and collecting litter along the way.

The first event took place on September 25 in the “Golden Sands” park near Aladzha Monastery. Together with the civic organization Mi Razom, the Ukrainian community, and Varna locals, participants cleaned up popular tourist trails and collected 38 bags of waste.

To highlight the project’s concept, all participants received patches shaped like plums — a symbol from the Bulgarian folk tale “Slivi za smet.” The most active volunteers who join throughout the year will receive a special prize from the corporation.

The key goal of the initiative is to promote cleaner urban spaces, encourage waste sorting, and create a comfortable environment for residents and visitors. The collected plastic waste will be recycled and transformed into an art installation.

“For us, it is important not only to build modern homes and infrastructure but also to create an environment where people truly enjoy living. ‘Slivi za smet’ is a reminder that caring for nature shapes our future. We want Varna and Bulgaria to become examples of environmentally responsible communities,” said Oleg Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.

KYB thanks all participants and invites everyone to join the monthly plogging events. Together, we can make Varna a cleaner and more welcoming place to live!
