The devastating flood that struck the Bulgarian town of Tsarevo caused severe destruction and left many families without shelter. During these difficult days, KYB Corporation and the public organization MI Razom joined forces to support the victims and deliver essential humanitarian aid.
In the first days after the disaster, the teams of KYB and MI Razom began collecting essential supplies — food, clothing, children’s items, and other necessities. The collected aid was personally delivered by representatives of both organizations to the Bulgarian Red Cross – Tsarevo, where it was officially handed over and distributed among those in need.
“Humanity is not expressed in words, but in actions. It’s important to be there when people need it the most,” said representatives of KYB.
During their visit, representatives of the initiative met with residents of Tsarevo who shared their stories and experiences after the flood. Despite the pain and loss, their resilience, kindness, and hope were evident.
These meetings served as a reminder that solidarity and compassion are the foundation of a true community. When people come together, even the hardest challenges can be overcome.
For KYB, helping people is not just an act of goodwill — it’s part of the company’s philosophy. We believe that business should not only create but also support. Collaboration with initiatives that share these values, such as MI Razom, shows that kindness has the power to unite nations and people.
KYB Corporation and MI Razom express their gratitude to the Bulgarian Red Cross – Tsarevo for their cooperation and to all the volunteers who helped deliver and distribute the aid.
In difficult times, it is important to remember: kindness unites. And even a single sincere act can restore hope.
KYB Corporation wrapped up the tourist season in Varna by launching a new environmental initiative — a monthly cycle of sports and eco-cleanup events “Slivi za smet.” Over the course of a year, the company’s team, city residents, and partners will take part in plogging — a combination of jogging and collecting litter along the way.
The first event took place on September 25 in the “Golden Sands” park near Aladzha Monastery. Together with the civic organization Mi Razom, the Ukrainian community, and Varna locals, participants cleaned up popular tourist trails and collected 38 bags of waste.
To highlight the project’s concept, all participants received patches shaped like plums — a symbol from the Bulgarian folk tale “Slivi za smet.” The most active volunteers who join throughout the year will receive a special prize from the corporation.
The key goal of the initiative is to promote cleaner urban spaces, encourage waste sorting, and create a comfortable environment for residents and visitors. The collected plastic waste will be recycled and transformed into an art installation.
“For us, it is important not only to build modern homes and infrastructure but also to create an environment where people truly enjoy living. ‘Slivi za smet’ is a reminder that caring for nature shapes our future. We want Varna and Bulgaria to become examples of environmentally responsible communities,” said Oleg Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.
KYB thanks all participants and invites everyone to join the monthly plogging events. Together, we can make Varna a cleaner and more welcoming place to live!
A new stage of the large-scale reconstruction of “Petar Popov” Street has begun in Varna. The road connects the city’s residential neighborhoods with the Alen Mak area and the E87 highway.
During the excavation works, traffic on certain sections of the street will be temporarily restricted. A detour has been arranged via “Sasha Popov” Street, with signs and traffic schemes placed on site. Authorities and contractors urge drivers to remain cautious and plan their routes in advance.
The project is being implemented in three stages and includes a complete replacement of the main water pipeline, reinforcement of the roadbed, and laying of new asphalt. The works are financed by the state budget and carried out by local contractors under the supervision of municipal authorities and specialized services.
For many years, “Petar Popov” Street was in poor condition, creating inconvenience for residents and diminishing the tourist appeal of the area. The start of the reconstruction has therefore been welcomed by local businesses as well. The international development corporation KYB, which is building several modern residential complexes in Alen Mak, expressed gratitude to the Varna Municipality for initiating the project.
“For a resort city, transport accessibility is a key factor for the comfort of residents and visitors, as well as for the sustainability of the tourist season. We greatly value the initiative of the Varna Municipality and are proud to work together to improve the quality of urban life. We kindly ask drivers to be patient with the temporary inconveniences — the result will definitely be worth it,” emphasized KYB Corporation founder Oleg Nevzorov.
