On November 28, Varna held another plogging event — part of the year-long environmental program “Plums for Trash”, organised by the international corporation KYB. The initiative once again brought together residents committed to maintaining clean urban and natural spaces.
This time, the route passed through the grounds of an Early Christian monastery in the Djanavara area — an important archaeological complex dating back to the 5th–7th centuries, located in Borovets Park near the Asparuhovo district. The site was chosen deliberately: KYB consistently supports natural and cultural locations in need of protection and regular maintenance. The ancient ruins often suffer from household waste, which affects both their preservation and their tourist appeal.
During the event, volunteers collected 85 kg of waste across the complex and the surrounding green areas. All collected materials will be sorted and sent for recycling, and part of the plastic will later be used in a new urban art installation.
This plogging continued the efforts of previous events — in the Golden Sands Nature Park and along the coastal route from Galata to Pasha Dere.
“Each event shows how significant the impact can be when residents unite for a common cause. For KYB, as a socially responsible developer, it is important not only to build but also to actively participate in shaping a clean and comfortable city,” noted KYB founder Oleg Nevzorov.
Participants traditionally received branded “plum” patches — both for taking part and for inviting friends. At the end of the 12-month cycle, the most active volunteer will receive a special prize from KYB.
The next event is already being prepared. Follow updates on KYB’s website and social media — and start collecting your own “Plums for Trash”!

KYB Corporation was among the key participants of Residential Expo Autumn 2025, the leading event in Bulgaria’s residential real estate sector, held on November 21–22 at the Sofia Event Center. The exhibition traditionally brings together top developers, banks, investment companies, and prospective buyers from across the country.
At the event, KYB Corporation presented its latest residential projects, attracting significant attention from visitors. The company’s booth became one of the most visited areas of the expo, thanks to its modern architectural vision, well-developed residential concepts, and high-quality presentation.
Representatives of KYB noted that discussions with attendees took place in a highly professional and engaging atmosphere. Potential clients and partners expressed strong interest in the company’s projects, emphasizing the importance of high-quality housing and transparent investment opportunities amid the dynamically evolving Bulgarian real estate market.
Residential Expo has long served as an effective business platform, bringing together market experts, buyers, banks, and developers. It provides a space to discuss mortgage financing, legal aspects of property transactions, investment trends, and new construction standards.
KYB Corporation’s participation in such a significant industry event strengthens the company’s position as a notable player in the real estate market and demonstrates its readiness for further expansion in Bulgaria. Following the event, company representatives highlighted plans to expand the project portfolio and enhance collaboration with potential investors and partners.

On November 1, Varna hosted the second plogging event of the 12-month cycle launched by KYB Corporation as part of its environmental project “Plums for Trash.” Dedicated to Black Sea Day, the event once again brought together residents, volunteers, and partners with a shared goal — to make the coastline cleaner and more enjoyable.
The KYB team, along with volunteers from Mi Razom, took part in the traditional beach cleanup organized for over 25 years by the Rodni Balkani Tourist Association. Split into small groups, participants cleaned the route from the end of the Galata district through the “Veteran” and “Chernomorets” shelters all the way to Pasha Dere beach. Together they collected 60 bags of waste, weighing over 250 kilograms, including plastic, packaging, and textiles. Thanks to their efforts, the beaches are once again clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors. All collected waste was sent for sorting and recycling.
As with the first event, the cleanup took place in a friendly and positive atmosphere. Adults and children spent the day outdoors and received a symbolic plum-shaped patch — a reference to the Bulgarian folk tale “Plums for Trash” and an encouragement to join future actions. After completing all 12 events, KYB will present a special award to the most active participant who collects the most “plums.”
“With every new initiative, we see more people getting involved — and that’s truly inspiring. The culture of responsibility and collective action for the common good is part of our corporate philosophy. For us, it’s not only about building modern homes but also about creating an environment where people enjoy living — clean, safe, and inspiring. We’re grateful to every Varna resident who helps make the city a better place,” said Oleh Nevzorov, founder of KYB Corporation.
The “Plums for Trash” project is a year-long cycle of sports and environmental initiatives in the plogging format — a combination of walking or running while collecting litter. Its aim is to promote ecological awareness, waste sorting, and care for the urban environment.
After the first two events, KYB volunteers have already cleaned more than 250 kg of waste from Varna’s popular tourist areas accumulated during the summer season. The first cleanup took place in the Golden Sands Nature Park, near the Aladzha Monastery.
